Alumni Program
Treatment doesn’t end at discharge. We offer ongoing clinical support and community connection, helping former clients maintain stability as they transition back to daily life.
Our Guiding Principles
Completing treatment is just the beginning. Our clinical team equips clients with the tools and clinical knowledge they need to maintain stability after discharge. The Alumni Program provides ongoing support, community connection, and clinical guidance for former clients and their families as they navigate life after treatment.

The Three C’s
Connect
We create meaningful connections between alumni, their families, and our supportive community, ensuring no one navigates life after treatment alone.
Commit
Our team provides unwavering guidance and support, helping alumni and their loved ones stay focused on their clinical progress and continued stability.
Cultivate
We build strong, engaged communities that support sustained mental health and meaningful connection beyond treatment.
Stronger Together: Alumni Program Groups
Nothing compares to the understanding and support of someone who has walked a similar path. The Lifeskills Alumni Program has welcomed thousands of former clients and families into a vibrant, engaged community. Each week, over 60 members attend our support groups. A dedicated recovery coach provides ongoing individualized support, while alumni leaders give back through mentorship — helping sustain a community built on connection, purpose, and mutual support.
Discharge Group
During each client’s stay, this group provides a space to check in, share experiences, and receive clinical guidance about the Alumni Program and the transition process.
Alumni Support Group
This weekly group gives alumni a space to share their post-treatment experiences, receive ongoing clinical support, and stay connected to the Lifeskills community.
Family Support Group
Families of alumni connect in this weekly group, sharing their experiences with others who understand and receiving the support they need as their loved one navigates life after treatment.

“This journey can be isolating — not just for the individual, but for the entire family. Everything we do in the Alumni Program is built around one goal: making sure no one feels alone.”

Voices from our community
“Lifeskills was the perfect place to treat my child’s mental health and addiction issues. The staff’s qualifications and areas of expertise enabled my child to get the needed targeted therapy. The staff was always available to answer questions and treated my family with dignity and respect. I particularly appreciated the family therapy sessions. I highly recommend Lifeskills.”
